  • What is UnionOnline?

    UnionOnline is a fast, secure and convenient way to access your Union Bank accounts, view balances, transfer funds and pay your bills online.

  • What are the types of transactions that can be perform on the UnionOnline platform?
    • Balance enquiry
    • Intra-bank transfers
    • FX transfers
    • Account(s) statement generation
    • Bills payment via ebills-pay, Quickteller and Remita
    • Schedule transfers/Standing order instruction
  • How do I register for UnionOnline?

    Below are the various ways to register for UnionOnline. Click on Online Banking logon.

    1. UnionOnline self enrolment - Coming soon

      1. Visit the Bank's website
      2. Click on "Online Banking logon"
      3. Click on "click to enrol"
      4. Impute your account number and click continue
      5. Choose a username and click continue
      6. Customer will receive an OTP on registered mobile phone with the Bank
      7. Impute the OTP, choose login password and click "Enrol"
      8. UnionOnline profile will be created with view only right
    2. Visit any UBN branch nearest to you and request for UnionOnline
  • How do I get my login details?

    When the completed enrolment form is processed, an automated message containing your initial/default login password (without the username which is known to you already) is sent to your registered mobile number.

  • How do I login to the UnionOnline platform?

    Visit the Bank?s website and click on Online Banking login at the top right corner of your screen to gain access to the page. Impute your username and password to login to your profile

  • How do I change my password?
    • Login with your Credentials
    • Visit the UnionOnline page
    • Go to Settings
    • Click on Change Password
    • Enter your Old Password
    • New Password
    • Confirm New Password
    • Enter Token
  • What If I forget my UnionOnline password??
    • Visit the UnionOnline page.
    • Click on forgot password
    • Enter username, account number and security word
    • Click on submit.
  • When can I use UnionOnline?

    UnionOnline is available and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

  • What If I forget my UnionOnline security word?

    Customer will have to follow steps below

    • Click on setting
    • Click on reset security word
    • Type in a new security word, do same on the confirmation field
    • Generate an OTP from your hard/software token and impute it in the token field
    • Click on submit
  • My Profile has been disabled, how can I enable it?

    Visit the nearest Union Bank branch to enable your profile

  • How do I make a quick Transfer?
    • Click on quick transfer on the right side of the screen
    • Inpute the relevant details
    • Click on submit
    • A page pops up for you to enter your security word and token
    • Type in the security word
    • Generate OTP from your software hardware token
    • Type it in the token field and submit
  • Can I schedule future transfers?

    Yes, you can schedule future transfers through the transfer menu.

    • Click on transfer
    • Click on schedule transfer
    • Click on set up schedule transfer
    • Populate all the required fields
    • Select the start and end date
    • Select frequency
    • Click on next
    • Type in your security word
    • Generate token from your soft/hard ware token and type in the token field
    • Click on confirm
  • What about international transfers? Yes you can

    All you have to do is !

    • Click on transfer
    • Click on my transfers
    • Click on international transfers
    • Select charge option
    • Impute the transfer amount, beneficiary name, beneficiary address, account no., & swift code
    • Impute other relevant fields
    • Impute security word and OTP (generated from your hardware/software token)
    • Click on transfer
  • How often can customers transfer funds?

    Funds can be transferred as frequent as possible until the daily limit is exhausted.

  • How safe is UnionOnline?

    UnionOnline is very safe. There are several level of security measures put in place to ensure that your banking transactions are consummated seamlessly. The security features include

    • Unique username
    • Password
    • Security word
    • Token (software or hardware)
  • What is a Token?

    A token is a small physical device (hard token) or a mobile application (soft token) that enables you to authenticate your transactions on the UnionOnline platform. It also serves as another layer of security outside your password and security word.

  • How do I get a soft token during transaction?

    Call our 24 hour call center on 012716816 to request for a soft token or visit the nearest Union Bank branch to make your request.

  • How do I activate my token?

    You can activate your token via the settings menu on UnionOnline

    • Click on settings
    • Click on activate token
    • Impute token serial number received by SMS
    • Generate OTP on your software or hardware token
    • Impute the generated token on token field on UnionOnline activation page
    • Click on submit
  • Can a token device work outside Nigeria?

    Yes, the token works anywhere in the world.

  • Can I link a single token to all my accounts on the UnionOnline platform?

    Yes, a single token can be linked to all your accounts tied to the same profile on UnionOnline.

  • I lost my hard token, what do I do?

    Call our 24 hour call center on 012716816 to report the loss of the token Visit the nearest Union Bank branch to request for a replacement
